Just as love finally found its voice, life threw them a curveball, she had to move to the UK for work. It wasn’t easy. “Leaving Bahrain, leaving him behind, it was hard,” she shares. But they decided to give love a chance, no matter the distance.

For two years, they navigated a long-distance relationship, balancing work, time zones, and emotional highs and lows. “We really wanted to make it work,” she says. “It wasn’t always easy, but every call, every message, every visit reminded us that it was worth it.”
And then came the moment that changed everything. “He decided to move to the UK, leaving behind his home, friends, and family, just to be with me,” she smiles. “That’s when I knew he was the one.”
Their relationship had already stood the test of time, distance, and change. Four more years passed, years of adjusting, learning, growing, and building a life together. Eventually, both families met, hearts aligned, and the couple finally decided to say I do.
“When we look back now,” she says fondly, “we laugh and say, who would’ve thought we’d end up getting married! But we made it work, and that’s what makes it special.”

Planning a wedding from across continents is never easy, especially when you’re a doctor juggling long hours and limited time off. “Wedding shopping was one of the hardest parts for me,” she admits. “I was managing everything virtually from the UK, browsing outfits online, contacting stores, shortlisting designs.”
